The Fraternal Order of Police Burgess-Mills Lodge No. 11 held a Law Enforcement Memorial Service at the Kingsport Justice Center Monday afternoon. More than 50 people, many of whom are law enforcement officers, attended the service, at Kingsport’s memorial and eternal flame.
Bobby Russell, Sullivan County Circuit Court clerk, gave the keynote address, saying these men and women who gave their all leave a void that can never be filled.
Officers laid 21 roses, one by one, at the foot of the memorial in honor and memory of the those law enforcement officers we’ve lost from Kingsport, Sullivan, Hawkins and Scott counties.
